WHAT IS AN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CONDITION REPORT?
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) aims to identify damage, defects and deterioration in order to find appropriate solutions and fixes. An EICR provides an in-depth overview of the electrics in your home to identify if they comply with the current electrical safety standards.
An EICR normally takes between three and four hours depending on the size of the job and the various circuits that need to be tested. These reports are recommended to be carried out at least every ten years to maintain safety and make sure all electrics meet the appropriate regulations.
